HISTORY: 

    She was born into a middle-class family who lived in England for business reasons. Both parents were born in Japan, however, and for that reason they moved back to live with her father's family when Naomi was 6. At the time, Naomi hated it in Japan, and she missed her friends at home, but after she made a few friends, she warmed up to the idea. She tried very hard to learn Japanese to the point where she can speak it fluently, and now can read, write, and speak it. She hadn't spoken it as a child because her parents thought she should speak the language that the people around her spoke, and her parents were fluent in English. Naomi's parents decided to send her to a boarding school as they were unsatisfied with her current one. At her previous school, she was bullied frequently about her grades. So, they decided to apply to Ikehara!
